u can try using a relaxer on it that way u dont have to straighten it as much or maybe even try curling it =D

hairspray sometimes help keep it down, but not too much of it.

also, i use this stuff called biosilk, you could buy it at walmart or a hair salon.(for the frizz issue)

i have the same problem[;

you could also put it up once in a while,

or scrunch it

(put mouse(sp?) in your hair after you get out the shower.)

and you could try higlighting or dying it maybe?

or maybe even getting a cute haircut[:

So is mine! Stop straightening it be proud of it and use a leave in conditioner!

BIOSILK!!! their silk therapy products work really well with curly hair....others like frizz-ease make hair feel dirty, but biosilk is amazing!

Don't straighten it - use some of the anti-frizz products that are available.

I found all my frizz went when I stopped using heat on it %26amp; just used anti-frizz products %26amp; the various ones you can get that protect your hair from the heat treatments.

I have the same type of hair.

On the days that i dont straighten it i put gel in it and scrunch it (go along with the curls). The gel will help with the frizz, and usually it looks good.

mines a nightmare! i love having it curly but ill wash it one day look lovely then ill sleep and the morning it will just go POOF and ill look like a afro.

Only real suggestion is that you invest in some mega calming frizz spray - all the frizeeze by john frieda, range are brilliant! they arnt costly ither if your on a budget!

Also any DreamCurl products work too.

id also recoment you dont straighten your hair as much as thats whats making your hair frizzy, i used to straighten my hair every other day and it killed my hair eventually.

Curly hairs big this year! so ditch the straighteners and beome Boho!!!

Much Love x

shave it.

Try using curling cream (I use trevor sorbie - it's really good) - comb it through your wet hair, take quite large sections and wind it up around your finger quite tight, let it go and leave it to dry naturally - it'll go into ringlets n look really good - my sister showed me how to do that lol! I straighten my fringe and curl the rest like that - it works and the cream gets rid of my frizz! xxxx

frizz ease mousse, with garnier frutis leave in conditioner and hairspray. the best thing to do is start with damp hair. put in the leave in conditioner and then the mousse. let it set (or blow dry but you risk the chance of it frizzing out). when your hair is about half way dry apply hairspray. if you need to you can add a little more mousse and hairspray to the frizzy parts, but be careful not too much or your hair will get stiff.(i pull my hair half way up it keeps any imperfections or frizzy hairs from showing too much)

My hair's naturally curly and it always tended to go frizzy and I'd spend a fortune (and often lose my temper) trying to get it straight or at least frizz-free, but then I started washing it as early as possible and using a good conditioner each time (Herbal Esscences Shampoo and seperate Conditioner) and then i'd brush my hair thoroughly just once and then leave it to dry naturally and I get really nice corkscrew curls and ringlets with no frizz and in the morning, I just loosely pile it all up section by section into a bulldog clamp clip and even my boss said it looks nice and suits my personality and since I've stopped my daily straighteners ritual, my hair is healthier and I have a longer lie-in before work each morning :D

EDIT - If you really want it straight and you've straightened it and it's gone frizzy, try smoothing a small amount of conditioner through the ends - I find that works, but don't use too much as your hair will look greasy.
