I have medium brown hair and dye it dark brown, I've been using Matrix Socolor, and I love the color but by 2 weeks it fades out to an ugly orangish color. Help....

Yeah, I won't even color my own hair any more. It fades, comes out the wrong color. I find if I go to the salon and have it done that it lasts much, much longer. So I guess it's worth the money.

Go to the salon. It always last longer than the store bought box. Plus if they screw it up, they have to fix it.

if you have a sallys beauty supply you can get good color there. if not its best to pay to have it done...paul mitchell is great...and hair color remover that you get over the counter wont even touch it. or it could be you are washing your hair so much it washes it out....wet it everyday but try washing only everyother day and use a conditioner ans shampoo for colored hair...its less likely to strip out your color
