I need help with my NATURAL red hair.?

I have (NATURAL) medium red hair.

It's not the typical light orange red hair.

It's a dark auburn and very long. Almost to my lower back.

I want to dye it black underneth. Like the blonde with the black.

I've already tried to do this but it didn't take the dye.

Any recommendations for a brand of dye from a store that might work?

the salon.they do a good job and it would probably work.and i guess you should keep it in longer since you have virgin hair.

I have the same naturual hair. Any black dye is going to do about the same. Ferria is a good one, but I always use the cheapest non amonia color I can find (I think its Clarol ColorSilk) always works well, it just needs to be redone once a month. Good Luck.

Don't do this! You have beautiful hair, that look is so skanky... black is impossible to get out.... you will have to cut your hair off to get it out.

I have no idea why it didn't work. Loreal is a good hairdye, and if push comes to shove, bleach it, then dye it.

i wanted to dye my hair red, but then i didn't. red is impossible to bleach out.

but yeah don't get the black, it's sort of 2002. natural is good...if you insist, however, salon is the way to go.

PLEASSSSSEEEEEEEEEE! i beg you! red auburn hair is BEAUTIFUL!! i'm not exxaggerating! it is beautiful. you don't know how bad black hair is. red hair is so beautiful. don't do ANYTHING to it! if you want if to look really cool. try putting blonde or purple streaks in it. my friend did that and it looks fetch( meaning real cool!) goodluck and i hope you dont dye it into some unnatural colour!
