Dont know what to do with my hair? anyone have any ideas?!?

ok so i have medium brown hair,sorta thick and about just and inch or two below my shoulders. im looking for a style that is easy to maintain. i was also thinking about highlighting my hair, sorta looking for a sun kissed hair, but i dont want blonde blonde, but slightly lighter shade of brown. and wanted an input on lowlights. i want to show a picture to my hairdresser but havent found any! If anyone knows of any good celeberties that have sorta a hair style im looking for i would greatly appreciate!!!!! =]=]=]=] thank everyone!!!!

do a image search on jennifer aniston , maria ,from corrie ,kate beckinsale . i would recomend having dark golden blonde( warm nut brown) and a hi-lift colour (which will lift your hair enough to notice, but still go with your natural colouring ) . any colour you have will lift up a little in the sun .these type of colours are ok for swimming .
