I'm 40 years old and have medium length hair. Lately, I've noticed more falling hair when I shampoo and when I comb after. Is my shampoo the cause? Will cutting it short help? Or is it just part of aging?

No, it just means that your scalp doesn't have enough nutrition.

I am 45 and have long hair the best thing you should do is just trim the ends and not grow old I know we all are but just don't over wash it and keep it clean dont wear hats.

I couldnt help but read your post and think to myself that I was right where you were 6 months and seems like 1000 wrinkles ago.
