Hair question....?

i have curly thick medium length hair

besides regular styles of leaving it down or pony tail or bun how can i style it??

My friend had really thick curlyish hair and whenever she would go to the barber, she would have her hair thinned and I know, it sounds weird, but all they do is go to the underside of your hair and use something like a razor and just kind of shave some out, but its not how it sounds, you can still put your hair up and its not like a bunch of short hairs are going to stick out. Also you could try some straigtening. Umm... you could try... hmm... you could try putting it up in a ponytail in the middle of the back of your head and then taking a clip or multiple clips and clip it up so about 1-2" stick up above your head (no, not straight up) and mess with the top until you get it the way you like. Lastly, you could try getting a different hair cut.

I also have THICK, curly hair. I would try a straighter. You 'll be suprised with the results. I love my straighter.
